Taste of the East - July 2008

A wonderful day was had by all at the Taste of the East day at the Holiday Inn, Maidenhead in July 2008.   

Maidenhead Flower Club prepared the very oriental design in the entrance and the 'Sushi' table arrangements.

In the morning we watched a Tea Ceremony performed by Sumia Takahashi, Grand Master & Kyoko Regan

This was followed by a delicious oriental buffet, and then an ikebane demonstration by Angela Sawano, National Ikebana Teacher & Demonstrator, assisted by her husband who is also a grand master.
