3rd and 4th June: Workshop with Marie-Francoise Deprez on French/modern leaf manipulation

5th and 6th June: Workshop with Zita Elze on Floral Embroidery and Creating with Emotion
Venue: Zita Elze Flower School near Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew
Cost: £170 each day including plant material, light refreshments and lunch.

Club Workshops


Clubs in the BB&O area often run workshops or have practical sessions at their meetings. Visitors are welcome at most clubs, but it is advisable to contact them in advance.

Teacher Training


BB&O aim to start a teacher training course in our area similar to the one running at NAFAS HQ at the moment. The 5 day course consists of 15 credits awarded by OCN for the following units:
1. The learners
2. Classroom management
3. Personal development journal
4. Reflective practice
5. Assessment and evaluation
You do not need to be currently teaching as assessment will be done by microteaching throughout the course.

Berkshire College of Agriculture based in Burchetts Green, Berkshire, offers a range of full and part-time Floristry and Floral Art & Design courses. 

Newbury College, Berkshire and East Berkshire College both offer a range of part-time leisure courses in Flower Arranging.

Keri Harvey, The Florist at Walliingford runs 1 hour monthly workshops 7-8pm. This ideal introduction to flower arranging is aimed at beginners.
£20 per session or £160 for all 9 sessions in 2013 - includes all fresh materials and sundries
